INES Students Participate in the 2026 Technology, Management, and Policy Consortium Meeting

INES students Dimitri Saad and Victoria Dinov recently participated in the 2026 Technology, Management, and Policy (TMP) Consortium Meeting, hosted by the Department of Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. The annual meeting brings together graduate students and faculty from leading international programs to discuss research at the intersection of technology, policy, and society.

The consortium provided an opportunity to share research, engage with peers from across institutions, and explore how rigorous technical analysis can inform policy decisions on complex energy and sustainability challenges.

During the meeting, Dimitri and Vicky also had the opportunity to meet Granger Morgan, a pioneering scholar in engineering and public policy whose work has shaped generations of researchers. The accompanying photo features Dimitri and Vicky with Professor Morgan, who also served as the doctoral advisor to Professor Azevedo, highlighting a meaningful connection within the INES academic community.

We congratulate Dimitri and Vicky on representing INES at this year's consortium and look forward to their continued contributions to interdisciplinary energy and policy research.
